What the concession requires
Before counting profit, make sure the business is lawful.
- The concession is registered on MyCoast. Every lawful shoreline or beach concession must be registered. It is checked by its concession code.
- The free zone stays free. The law provides for a zone without sunbeds for free access. Its size and position are checked by the authority and the municipality.
- The square metres match the permit. The number of sets and umbrellas cannot exceed the concession area. Keep the plan and measure before each season.
- The application is filed on time. For 2026, adjacent businesses apply by 30 April. The deadline is announced each year.
- Prices are displayed. Sunbed and umbrella prices must be visible before use. Complaints are reviewed by the authority and the municipality.
This is a commercial model, not tax or licensing advice. The fee, area limits and deadlines are set by the auction notice, the municipality and MyCoast.
