How it is calculated
OPEKA pays €525 per month for a child of typical development and €750 for a child with a condition resulting in disability. A separately approved disability benefit may be added.
Multiply the monthly amount for each child category by the number of children. The annual equivalent assumes twelve full months.

When is it paid?
Payment is made on the last working day of each month while the foster placement lasts. OPEKA checks the application and registry record.
