How it is calculated
Trade reports say that from 1 December 2026, 24% Greek VAT will be charged on commission and the payment service fee for private hosts without a valid VAT number in VIES. Booking.com has not published a public official announcement of this change; check your extranet and invoice.
The tool applies the rates you enter to the booking base. In the reported scenario, 24% VAT is calculated on commission and the payment service fee.
The 31 October 2026 VIES deadline and 1 December start date come from trade reports of a partner notice, not a public official platform announcement.
