How seats are allocated
The allocation applies the 3% threshold, proportional seats and the leading formation’s bonus when the legal conditions are met.
Coalitions have a special rule: bonus eligibility compares the average support of their member parties with the strongest independent party.
Electoral formations with at least 3% take part in proportional allocation. Other votes remain in the valid-vote total but do not receive seats.
At 25%, the bonus starts at 20 seats and increases by one seat for every 0.5 percentage point, up to 50 seats at 40%. If no bonus applies, all 300 seats are allocated proportionally.
Proportional seats use integer quotas and largest remainders. If tied remainders decide a seat, the law provides for a drawing of lots. Official results also use constituency-level procedures and may differ.

Frequently asked questions
Is this an election forecast?
No. It converts the percentages you enter into an indicative seat allocation. It does not predict votes or constituency results.
How are coalitions handled?
The calculator uses the coalition member count you enter and compares its average support with the strongest independent party, as the law provides. The Supreme Court determines a formation’s official status.
Why must the percentages add to 100%?
The calculator uses shares of valid votes. Include estimates for each formation and the combined share of the remaining formations that are each below 3%.
