How it is calculated
The allowance is not the same for everyone. Each fuel has its own reference amount, each area has a coefficient, and each child adds 20%. A maximum and the value of your receipts cap the result.
The 2026–2027 season was announced with a 30% rise in amounts and limits. The final ministerial decision has been published, so every value carries a source and a check date and the result is now verified.
The fuel's reference amount is multiplied by the area coefficient and increased by 20% for each dependent child.
The result is capped by the maximum for its coefficient band and never falls below €130. If you enter purchase receipts, it cannot exceed half their value.
Eligibility uses income, property value and business receipts. If any limit is exceeded, the tool gives no amount.

Reference amount by heating fuel
The reference amount is multiplied by the area coefficient and increased by 20% for each dependent child. Only one fuel is subsidised.

The maximum depends on the area's coefficient. The income and property limits rise with each dependent child.

The allowance cannot exceed half the value of the fuel receipts, so purchases must be at least twice the amount shown. These figures are before that limit.
Frequent questions
Do I get the amount automatically?
No. You must apply on AADE's myThermansi platform and declare your purchases. The tool estimates the amount; it does not file the application.
Why is my settlement missing?
The coefficient table is indicative and does not cover every settlement. The coefficient can differ even within one municipality; check the official table for the season.
Does my home's value count?
Yes. Property value as assessed for ENFIA is checked, with a different limit per household type and per child.
