€565.00
How it is calculated
Current system
The basic daily amount is €22.60 (55% of the €41.09 minimum daily wage from 1 April 2026). Each full month equals 25 daily benefits. A 10% increase applies per protected family member.
Official conditions
Indicative estimate for common employees, not a DYPA decision. Seasonal workers, construction workers, special categories, the alternative two-year first-claim test, start date, Easter/Christmas payments and all pilot benefit components are outside scope. Apply within 60 days and confirm your insurance days and conditions with DYPA.
How it is calculated
For common employees, the current system pays a base €565 per month from 1 April 2026, with a 10% increase for each protected family member. Duration is generally 5–12 months based on insured days.
The separate pilot can last up to 24 months but is a randomized programme, not an option every applicant can choose. Its calculation here shows only the fixed part; DYPA determines any variable and additional components.
The standard estimate uses the 14-month insured-day table, excluding the final two months. Special 12-month routes for age or total insured days are included, as is a cap based on benefit days in the previous four years.
For a selected pilot beneficiary, duration uses eligible insured days in the 74-month period. The fixed amount is based on the statutory daily minimum wage and declines over time.
The result is not a decision on eligibility. DYPA checks the insured record, prior payments, application date and category-specific rules.

Frequently asked questions
Can I choose the 24-month pilot?
No. DYPA selected participants through a randomized pilot. Use that route only if DYPA confirmed your selection.
Does the pilot figure include its full benefit?
No. The estimate shows the fixed part only. The variable and additional parts depend on further insurance and family data.
Does the standard estimate cover every worker?
No. Seasonal workers, construction workers and special cases have different rules. First-time applicants may use an alternative two-year insurance test.
