How the estimate works
Calculation method

What is not checked
The estimate covers the benefit amount, six-month income, taxable property value, deposits/investments and vehicle objective expense. It does not calculate income exclusions and special adjustments, deposit interest, or every residency and household-composition rule.
How it is calculated
Enter the adult and minor household members, six-month income and figures used for the main asset tests.
For a single-parent household, the oldest minor counts as an adult when calculating the EEE amount.
The guaranteed amount starts at €216 per month, increases by household member and is capped at €972. The indicative benefit is the positive difference from average monthly income.
The tool also checks OPEKA's published income, real-estate and movable-asset limits.
