How the estimate works

Overdraft rates are often floating and depend on the limit and your relationship with the bank.

Eurobank publishes different rates by usage band. Confirm the current rate and charges in your own tariff.

For Eurobank's published rates, interest is calculated progressively across balance bands using each annual rate plus the 0.60% Law 128/1975 levy. The minimum payment uses 1.50% of the total debt.

Eurobank salary or pension customers pay no interest on the first €150; the remainder uses 13.10%. The 12-month figure keeps the balance and rate unchanged, so it is a comparison rather than a forecast.

You can optionally compare a personal-loan or card rate and one-off fee for the same balance and days. This does not simulate instalments.

Frequently asked questions

Which rate should I use?

Choose Eurobank's published bands or, for another bank, enter the annual rate in your agreement, including any levy if shown separately.

Is Eurobank's rate fixed?

No. The bank says it is floating and may be adjusted monthly.

How is overdraft interest calculated?

Eurobank's bands apply progressively to portions of the balance, with the 0.60% levy added. Salary customers have separate terms.

How do I compare another offer?

Enter the personal-loan or credit-card annual rate and any one-off fee. The tool compares simple interest for the same balance and days; it does not model the full repayment cost in instalments.
