greecetools is an independent, bilingual project: free calculators for Greek taxes, benefits, property and everyday obligations. Every result shows the rule that was applied, its official source and the date it was checked.

What greecetools does
Each tool answers one specific question: how much is the allowance, what a procedure costs, how much tax applies. We do not give general advice — we calculate from published rules and show where they come from.
Calculations run in your browser. There is no account, and no value you type is sent to a server.
How a calculator is built
- Every rule is recorded with an identifier, the article, the official source (gov.gr, AADE, e-EFKA, DYPA and others) and its own check date.
- Each tool's rule set is versioned. When an amount or a deadline changes, the rule, its source and its date are updated together.
- Where sources disagree we record the conflict and explain which value the calculator uses, and why.
- Rules that have not been through a second reading yet are labelled clearly, so you can see what has been confirmed.
Where the limits are
Results are estimates for information, not tax or legal advice. The final answer depends on things a calculator cannot know: your income, family situation, local decisions and transitional provisions.
Rules change with statutes, circulars and ministerial decisions. The check date next to each rule tells you how far the information you are reading has been confirmed.
Who builds it
greecetools is an independent project. It is not affiliated with any public authority, ministry or social security fund, it does not represent any body, and it does not sell user data.
The work is public: rules, sources and check dates are published in full, so you can verify every figure yourself instead of taking our word for it.
Corrections
If you find a wrong amount, threshold, deadline or source, write to us with the page link and, if you have it, the official document. Corrections go through the same check as the original rules and, once confirmed, the check date changes too.

Is it free?
Yes. There is no subscription, no account and no usage limit. Every tool is open to everyone.
Do you store what I type?
No. Calculations run in your browser and no value is sent to a server.
Can I rely on the result for a tax return?
Use it as a check before you file. Before a return, application or payment, confirm the amount with your accountant or the competent authority.
How often are the rules checked?
Every rule carries its own check date. We re-check when the law changes and before application periods such as the heating allowance or the annual tax return.
