EOF (National Organization for Medicines)

The state body that oversees medicines, medical devices and cosmetics in Greece.
EOF was founded in 1983 by Law 1316 and is a public-law body under the Ministry of Health. It oversees medicines and other health products sold in Greece, such as medical devices and cosmetics.
When a batch of a medicine or a product is withdrawn, EOF announces it in its recalls. Example: check the batch number on your box and compare it with the notice. If it matches, ask your pharmacist what to do.
