See today's lowest, average and highest price of petrol, diesel, LPG and heating oil by prefecture, and what a fill-up costs.
Fuel stations declare their prices to the Ministry of Development's Fuel Price Observatory. The tool reads the current statistics by prefecture and works out the cost for the amount you enter.
For the fuel you choose we fetch each prefecture's lowest, average and highest price from the Observatory, and the number of stations that declared a price in the last 15 days. The data is refreshed every half hour.
We multiply the litres by the three prices and compare your prefecture with the national average, weighted by the number of stations.
A 50-litre fill-up at an average of 2.104 €/litre costs €105.20. If the cheapest station in the prefecture charges 1.937 €/litre, the same fill-up costs €96.85, or €8.35 less.
Stations declare every price change to the Observatory. We re-read the statistics every half hour and show the snapshot time.
The station may have changed its price after the snapshot, may run a promotion, or may differ from the prefecture average. The pump price is what applies.
