Work and pay
Basic gross pay and an estimated net for ΠΕ, ΤΕ, ΔΕ and ΥΕ by years of service.
Public-sector basic pay depends on the education category and the pay grade (ΜΚ), which rises with recognised years of service.
From 1 April 2026 the basic monthly gross is €1,232 at the first grade of ΠΕ, rising €59 per grade to €2,294 at grade 19. ΤΕ starts at €1,177 and rises €55 per grade to €2,167. ΔΕ starts at €998 and rises €60 per grade to €1,718 at grade 13. ΥΕ starts at €920 and rises €43 per grade to €1,436.
ΠΕ and ΤΕ move up a grade every two years of service and ΔΕ and ΥΕ every three. The tool turns your years into a grade and shows every grade in a table.
The net figure uses the same method as the net-salary tool with 12 salaries and no allowances, so it is indicative only.
No. Family, responsibility, special and other allowances, and holiday bonuses are not included. Only the basic salary of the grade is shown.
Allowances, deductions for third parties, a different recognised service or a special scale can all change it. Your payslip is the authority.
They come from press tables of the Law 4354/2015 scale in force from 1 April 2026 and have not been checked against the Government Gazette.
Your service has to be recognised for pay progression. Enter the years recognised, not just the years since you were hired.
