How the estimate works
Hellenic Train lists 25% compensation for arrival delays of 60–119 minutes and 50% for 120 minutes or more, subject to its conditions and a €4 minimum payout.
For a standard ticket, the calculation uses the price of the delayed leg. A technical breakdown causing more than 180 minutes of delay has a separate 100% term in the operator’s conditions.
Multi-journey cards require repeated qualifying delays or cancellations and a qualifying route. This tool shows only the 10% maximum cap, not a compensation entitlement.
