Estimate a four-month bill from consumption and meter size, with the bands, fixed charges and sewer levy.
A water bill is not one rate times cubic metres: it is tiered charges, two fixed fees and a sewer percentage. A small error in the reading changes the total disproportionately.
We use 's published domestic bands for four-month consumption: 0–10, 11–40, 41–60, 61–120, 121–160 and 161+ m³. Each m³ is charged at the price of the band it falls in, not at a single rate.
Fixed water charges are added by meter diameter, plus sewer at 80% of the water charge and a €1 monthly sewer fixed fee. The result excludes , municipal levies and surcharges.
bills domestic customers every four months, and the bands are defined on that period.
No. EYDAP uses different bands and its site was unreachable during the research. This tool covers Thessaloniki.
No. and municipal levies are added to the bill and depend on the municipality and the use category.
| Band | m³ | €/m³ | Charge |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–10 | 10 | 0.49 | €4.90 |
| 11–40 | 30 | 0.706 | €21.18 |
Uses EYATH's published domestic tariff for four-month consumption. The charge is marginal: each m³ is billed at the price of the band it falls in. Sewer is 80% of the water charge plus a €1 monthly fixed fee. VAT, municipal levies and other bill items are not included.
Thessaloniki only (EYATH). Athens (EYDAP) uses different bands and is not covered.
