Maternity and parental leave

Leave that parents take after a child is born or adopted, without losing their job.
Maternity leave is for the mother, before and after the birth. Parental leave can also be taken by the other parent.
The money you receive during leave depends on the rules and on your insurance.
Inform your employer in writing and in good time, so that the leave can be arranged.
