Subsidy
In short
Money from the state or the EU that lowers the cost of something, such as a renovation.
A subsidy is given for a specific purpose, such as insulation, solar panels or buying an electric car.
Sometimes you pay the full cost and get part of it back. Other times the price is reduced from the start.
The conditions change often. Always check that the installer or supplier is approved.
