See recent earthquakes near your town, with magnitude, distance and depth.
This board lists earthquakes from the open EMSC catalogue within a radius of the town you pick. Values are preliminary and get revised.
Pick a town, radius, time window and minimum magnitude. The board refreshes from the service every minute.
This is not an early-warning system. For official announcements see the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) and Civil Protection.
If an M3.2 quake appears 40 km from Athens at 12 km depth, the board labels it "Felt" and shows its distance from the city. That does not mean you will feel it at home.
Early values are preliminary. As the event is analysed, magnitude and depth are corrected.
Magnitude measures energy released at the source. Intensity describes shaking and damage at a specific place.
Drop, cover, hold on. Then check for injuries and follow Civil Protection guidance.
