Compare Greece's annual inflation with the EU average by category, and see where the Greek minimum wage sits among EU countries.
Inflation is measured with Eurostat's harmonised index of consumer prices (), so countries can be compared. The national ELSTAT index is different, and this tool shows Eurostat's.
The tool reads the latest annual rate for Greece (EL) and the of 27 (EU27_2020), by COICOP category. The gap is Greece minus the EU, in percentage points.
Minimum wages come from Eurostat in euro, using the same method for each country.
Prices in Greece rise faster than the average. The category view shows where.
It is raised by law, usually once or twice a year, and is not automatically linked to inflation.
Since the United Kingdom left, Eurostat publishes the of 27 as its aggregate.
