Everyday
The last metro departure on lines 1, 2 and 3 by day of the week, with a countdown to it.
Friday and Saturday nights differ from the rest of the week, and Line 1 does not follow the extended hours of lines 2 and 3.
Line 1 (Piraeus–Kifisia) runs to the same last times every day: 00:15 from each end, 00:30 toward Omonia, 00:36 from Omonia to Kifisia and 00:47 from Omonia to Piraeus.
On lines 2 and 3 the last train leaves Syntagma at 00:23 from Sunday to Thursday and at 02:00 on Friday night. On Saturday the lines run all night, about every 15 minutes. Service to the airport ends around 23:00.
Between midnight and 05:00 the page counts the previous evening, so a Saturday 01:00 visit shows the Friday-night rules. The countdown uses Athens time.
No. They are for reference stations. A station further along a line sees the last train a little later or earlier. Check the station timetable at stasy.gr.
The schedule can be shortened or extended, for example on Easter Friday and Saturday or New Year’s Eve. Strikes and engineering works can stop service. Check the operator the same day.
No. Line 1 keeps the same last times every day. Only lines 2 and 3 extend on Friday and Saturday nights.
From April 2026 press reports of the operator’s timetables. They have not been checked against the operator’s own page, which publishes the timetables as images.

Times are for reference stations (Syntagma, line ends, Omonia), not every station: from intermediate stations the last train leaves a little earlier or later depending on distance. Holidays, strikes and works change the schedule. They come from April 2026 press reports, not from STASY itself, so confirm at stasy.gr before relying on them for a last journey.
