Platforms report sellers with 30 or more sales or more than €2,000 a year. See whether you cross the threshold and what is sent.
Reporting happens early in the following year, so 2026 sales appear in early 2027.
The platform sends identity, address, tax number, gross amount and fees. The threshold is 30 sales or €2,000 a year, whichever comes first.
Whether tax is due depends on whether the activity is a business. Clearing out personal items is not a business; systematic buying to resell is.
has given no specific guidance on private second-hand sales, so the page shows the red flags and points you to an accountant instead of drawing a tax conclusion.
25 sales and €1,400 on Vinted: neither the 30-sale nor the €2,000 threshold is crossed, so no report this year. With 32 sales and €900 you are reported because of the number of sales.
Selling personal items below cost is usually not business income, but has no clear guidance. Ask an accountant if the amount is large.
The platform counts transactions and amounts as it sees them; cancellations may not reduce the threshold.
Short-term rental platforms report under the same thresholds, and that income is taxed under the short-term letting rules.

The thresholds are 30 sales or more than €2,000 a year (Law 5047/2023). Reporting is not tax: taxation depends on whether it is a business activity, and ΑΑΔΕ has given no guidance on private second-hand sales.
