In short
The official document that shows who legally owns a property.
The title deed comes from the Land Registry (Ktimatologio) or from a contract signed before a notary.
Before buying a property, ask to see the title deed and check that the property is correctly recorded.
If the property is not yet registered with the Ktimatologio, ask what procedure applies.
