Convert euros into dollars, pounds, francs and other currencies at the European Central Bank's official reference rates.
The ECB publishes rates every working day around 16:00 CET. They are reference rates, not market prices. Your bank or exchange office will give you a different rate, with a margin and fees.
The ECB gives each rate as units of currency for 1 euro. The tool divides by the source currency's rate and multiplies by the target's. The euro has a rate of 1.
Banks add a margin and a fee. The official rate is a reference point.
The ECB does not publish on weekends and public holidays. The tool shows the last available rate.
Cards convert at their own rate, often with a fee. See the card conversion tool.
