Check a point against Ministry study areas and published river-flood scenarios.
This checks a geographic point, not an entire property. It is not a safety or insurance assessment.
The tool checks the point against areas identified as potentially at significant flood risk in 2019. If a study area matches, it checks first-revision river-flood extents for 50-, 100- and 1,000-year return periods in the corresponding water districts.
A return period is a statistical measure, not a prediction of when flooding will occur. The models cover the areas and scenarios studied. Coastal flooding and local conditions are not checked here.
The source is the Ministry flood geoportal, accessed via WFS. The layer records on data.gov.gr state CC BY 4.0. The point intersection and summary are adaptations.
