Everyday
Sea temperature, waves and wind for the next 48 hours at a beach or port, with a plain estimate for swimming and for a small boat.
The estimates are indicative, based on the Open-Meteo model. A coast can differ with its bay, the wind of the moment and currents.
Sea temperature, wave height and direction come from Open-Meteo’s marine model for the coast point. Wind and gusts come from the weather model at 10 m.
The labels “Calm”, “Take care” and “Rough” are our rules of thumb, not official criteria. The rules are listed under the table.
The estimate is a general picture. With waves over 0.5 m or strong wind, stay close to the shore and watch the currents at the spot.
The list only has points with sea data. Pick the nearest coast point.
The model gives an average for the area. The beach can differ slightly from deeper water in the bay.
